The Manage assistants tab lists every AI assistant you've allowed to access your publication. You can see when each one was last used and end its access whenever you want.
Go to Settings โ AI assistants โ Manage assistants.

What you see
Each assistant you approved has its own entry. Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Codex can each appear separately.
Connected on [date]: the date you approved the assistant.
Last used on [date]: the last time the assistant successfully fetched data from your publication. Not used yet means it hasn't fetched anything so far.
Active: the assistant can currently read your publication's data.
Inactive: the assistant can't currently read your data, but your approval is still stored. This happens, for example, after you uninstall the app in ChatGPT, after the assistant's connection has expired, or after the publication has moved to a new owner. While the approval is stored, the same assistant can reconnect without asking you again.
You'll see every approval for your publication here, including ones given by a previous owner of the publication. You can revoke any of them.
Revoking access
Click Revoke next to the assistant.
Confirm with Yes, revoke.
Steady ends the assistant's access straight away and deletes the approval. To use the assistant again, connect it again and approve it on the Allow access? screen.
Why you should revoke in Steady, not just in the assistant
What happens when you disconnect inside the assistant depends on the assistant:
What you do | Can the assistant still read your data? | Stays listed on Steady? |
Remove the connector in Claude | Yes, Claude keeps its access | Yes, as active |
Uninstall the app in ChatGPT | No | Yes as Inactive. Reconnecting skips approval. |
Click revoke on Steady | No | No |
Revoking in Steady is the only way to be sure an assistant's access has ended. Do it whenever you stop using an assistant.
