# How to log in to Steady

How to log in to Steady using a one-time email code

At Steady, you don’t need a password to log in. Instead, we send you a one-time login code by email.

# How it works

1.  Go to the [login page](https://steady.page/log_in) and enter your email address.
    
2.  If an account exists for that address, you’ll receive an email with a 6-digit login code.
    
3.  Enter the code on the login page.

4.  You’re in!
    

# Didn’t receive the login code?

If you didn’t get the email with your code, check out our [Login problems](https://help.steadyhq.com/en/articles/6265717-login-problems) help article for troubleshooting steps (checking your spam folder, verifying the email address you used, etc.).

# Good to know

-   Each login code can only be used once and is valid for 30 minutes — if it expires, simply request a new one.
    
-   Since Steady doesn’t use passwords, there’s nothing to reset or forget.
    
-   Once logged in, you’ll usually stay logged in unless you don’t visit the site for more than six months, or you’re using private/incognito browsing or an in-app browser.
